Fans of The Kooks have been listening to their songs for more than a decade, and now they are going to get a once in a lifetime opportunity to see the band perform live in Bristol. In a recent announcement, the band revealed that they are going on a new tour called “Best of” tour that will begin early next year, and will see them perform at various locations throughout the UK.
Here is the lineup for the band when they are going to perform:
- Luke Pritchard is going to be on vocals and guitar
- Hugh Harris will be on the guitar
- Pete Denton will be on the bass
- Alexis Nunez will be on the drums
The band came out of nowhere onto the music scene back in the year of 2006 with their debut album, Inside In/Inside Out that was a smash hit. The tour has been announced to celebrate their 10 years in the music industry, however, this is not the first time that the band has went on a tour. In fact, they have been touring the world performing their hit singles for the better part of their career.
The name of the band came from the title of a song by David Bowie, and they were discovered by the scouts in the year 2005, and later signed by Virgin Records. The rest is history. Very few people know that the three main members of the band were actually school mates in Brit School in Croydon.
The band has released a total of four albums, all of them chartbusters with a number of hit singles. Right now, the band is busy performing in South America and Europe and soon after, they will come to the UK. Fans are in frenzy and cannot wait to attend the event.
